  • Anna Rhodes
    Anna Rhodes

    A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Anna has been with Bartlesville Civic Ballet for three years. She began her dance training in 1994 with the Tiffany & Co. Studio of Dance, owned and directed by Tiffany Winling. She became a competitive member of the company in 3rd grade and continued her training there until her high school graduation. Anna then attended and graduated from New American Youth Ballet & Conservatory (NAYB); a college preparatory private school focused on dance training and high-quality classroom instruction, founded and directed by Beth McLeish. NAYB follows teaching methods based on the aesthetics of George Balanchine (NYCB) and Marcia Dale Weary (CPYB). Her summer's included dance intensives at the Nutmeg Conservatory in Torrington, Connecticut, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and the Ballet Intensive from Moscow near Chicago, Illinois. Her dance education continued at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she obtained her Bachelors of Art with a concentration in Ballet. While at PPU she lived in Paris, France, where she studied under Wayne Byars and Gregory Cianci at Studio Harmonic. Her formal education includes courses in human anatomy and kinesiology, dance pedagogy, dance history, and choreography. Anna competed in 4 national competitions, various local and regional competitions, received Top 10 awards in group and solo categories, and was Dancer of the Year in 2008 at Tiffany & Co. Her dance repertoire consists of roles in Peter & the Wolf, Carnival of the Animals, Les Sylphides, Paquita, and as a rehearsal assistant for Nicolas Petrov's ballet, Carmen. Her teaching experience includes 5 consecutive summers at Tripp Lake Camp in Poland, Maine, ballet director at Inspirations Dance Studio for one season, and will be the assistant choreographer starting in the summer of 2017 for Children's Musical Theatre of Bartlesville. Her most recent teaching roles include Foundations I & II and classes in Jazz and Contemporary dance at Bartlesville Civic Ballet.

  • Alex Martinez
    Alex Martinez

    A graduate of Benedictine College Alex holds a degree in Music Education. He has taught for four years in areas from Oklahoma City to Bartlesville and he holds certification of all three levels of Kodaly training. Alex believes that, "music education for a young person is important, especially in this day in age, because it promotes growth in areas such as math, reading, social interaction, and it enriches the soul." He is looking forward to working with CMT and introducing each child to the wonders of music.

  • Jessica Allis
    Jessica Allis

    Jessica Allis, is a native Arkansan and proud Tulsan. Known as Allis to her friends and loved ones, she moved to Tulsa the summer of 2015 after graduating with a BFA in Theater from the University of Central Arkansas. Since moving to Tulsa, she’s been featured in The Reverb Theater Dangerous Plays festival, continued her education in film making, and produced three short films. Allis has led several theater workshops with students ranging from middle school to college age. She also has directed plays, led youth groups, coached pee wee cheerleading, and been a camp counselor for church and Girl Scout summer camps for almost ten years. Allis is very excited to start her teaching career with CMT!
