2020 Main Stage Musical

"The Music Man"

BIG SUMMER NEWS!!

With very heavy hearts, we have made the decision to cancel the summer Mainstage production of The Music Man.  We are exploring options to produce The Music Man as a Winter production with show dates in late January or early February. Once we have details finalized, we will let everyone know. Anyone with a named role in the show, you will be given the option of keeping their role for the Winter production.  Overall cast size will have to be reduced, so some ensemble roles will be eliminated. There are a number of details that have to be put in place to proceed with this plan, so please be patient as we figure them all out!

We are hopeful that public assembly restrictions will be lifted in time for summer camps to proceed.  We are moving our Moana Jr. camp dates to June 29-July 18.; Annie Kids camp will remain the same July 27-Aug. 7.  Of course, proceeding with camps will be contingent on City guidelines being lifted and we will have protocols in place for taking temperatures before admitting to the building and thorough cleaning regimen in place. The age range of campers will be increased to age 15.  Camp sizes will be limited and available on first come, first serve basis. If you are interested, please register soon!. Of course if the city/state tell us we must cancel camps we will make a full refund to all who registered.

Since 2020 has been such a disappointment for everyone, we want to let you know about our Summer 2021 show! We have just secured the licensing rights to Matilda the Musical. The show is orignated from the Roald Dahl children's book about an extraordinary girl who dares to take a stand and change her own destiny. The title role of Matilda and her classmates will be played by younger cast members. Older cast members will play Matilda's Mother, Father, and teenage brother, Miss Honey the kindhearted teacher, and a thoroughly awful villain in the Headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, along with additional featured characters and ensemble. So start your research now!  Matilda ran on both London's West End and 4 years on Broadway,as well touring through the US and Internationally, it is an exciting and challenging show and we look forward to producing it for the first time in Bartlesville.
